Gameplay-wise, Moon Scratch offers a simple and straightforward experience. You scratch off the panels to reveal numbers, and if you match one of them with the numbers shown above, you win. The simplicity is both a strength and a weakness. On the one hand, it's easy to pick up and play, making it accessible for newcomers. On the other hand, the lack of depth and variety may leave experienced players wanting more excitement.

For starters, there is no bet selection. The game had me playing with a fixed bet, which I must say was quite small for my preference, and I think many will agree with me. To compensate for that, the game has big potential prizes, going up to even 10,000x the initial bet, making it one of the best paying games I’ve seen in this category.

Of course, having big potential prizes and getting them are two separate things. During my time playing, I must say that Moon Scratch was not as lucrative as I hoped. I liked the fact that it included an autoplay function, but other than that, there was no special feature or mechanic included with the game.

This can be a good thing for those who seek a quick and simple way to pass the time, while testing their luck, but I personally want more from a game, and I’ve seen many like this one that included at least a bonus round of some sorts.
