What the Duck: The Name Goes Well With the Experience

The graphics are simple, and somewhat cartoonish. Well, truth to be told, the whole game has a minimalist vibe about it. There is not much to be done inside the game, other than scratching the cards themselves.

The game has a fixed bet value, which can feel pretty undesirable for some, but the good part about it is that you can never get greedy and go overboard with your bets. I personally would have liked some options when it comes to the bets, or at least having a slightly bigger bet in itself.

Winning a round is as straightforward as matching the numbers you get with the winning ones above each card. The overall payouts are decent, with the highest one being quite huge. One of the biggest jackpots I’ve seen in a game like this. Of course, I think it’s almost impossible to get it, so my focus while playing was to be as profitable as I could.

The rounds can go fast, making the game attractive for those who seek some fast-paced action, and I like the inclusion of an autoplay feature. Unfortunately for What the Duck, there’s no other bonus mechanic to be seen, and that made the experience a bit stale for me. Combined with the fact that you have a fixed bet, the game felt a bit restrictive in the long run.

At least the interface is intuitive and the RTP is not as bad as I’ve seen with other games in this category, so I won’t give it the lowest score. Sure, there are some things I wanted to see in the game, like a free spins round or a bonus mini-game, but I can see others liking it the way it is.
