Comic Craze Slot Review & Free Play

Comic Craze: Tempt Fate With Multipliers Worth Up to 362x

Spinomenal has played around with plenty of slot styles, but Comic Craze took a slightly different route. This is a one-armed bandit-style game built around progressive multipliers and a jackpot worth up to 500x my bet.

As the title rather clearly suggests, this comic-themed slot uses just one reel with five possible symbols. In a setup this stripped back, keeping an eye on the RTP and volatility becomes crucial. The RTP sits at 95.42%, while the volatility is cranked all the way up.

The Boom symbol can build up to a 12x multiplier, Pow reaches 100x, while Yeah can climb as high as a 250x multiplier. Each one requires five steps to reach its maximum value, though there is one annoying obstacle: the Ouch symbol. Land that little menace, and all your accumulated progress gets wiped clean and sent back to zero.

During my session, Boom appeared roughly once every three to four dry spins, initially paying 1x my bet. Pow, starting from 3x, showed up around every five to six spins, while Yeah, beginning at 10x my bet, usually arrived after 10 to 12 spins.

The helping hand came from the Wow symbol, which advances all three progressive meters by one stage whenever it lands. I managed to hit it twice and secured a total 14x multiplier.

I would suggest that whenever Pow or Yeah lands, cash out rather than getting greedy. Boom is probably where you can experiment a little. I certainly wasn't keen on gambling away hard-earned wins.

If you somehow manage to fill all three progress meters, you'll receive the 500x jackpot alongside a combined 362x multiplier. Sounds lovely on paper, of course, but reaching that point is more like spotting a unicorn. I wouldn't build my bankroll strategy around it.

There are no free spins or bonus rounds in this game either. Comic Craze is easy to understand and has a different sort of gameplay. But personally, I'd still take a well-designed traditional slot with a few bonus rounds and jackpots over this risky little comic strip.
