Using the tried and tested fruit theme, Flip the Chip might be appealing to players who like classic slots. A strawberry, orange, a bunch of green grapes, and several other fruits I couldn’t make out. But they’re all distinct enough and won’t confuse you. There is also the iconic red ‘7’ symbol (highest-paying at 500X) and the 3 BAR symbols. All these took me back to the golden age of slots. 

I was equally impressed with the soundtrack. It is just exciting enough for a classic slot and doesn’t exactly get you worked up for the big win. When you collect your winnings, the sound of a shaking sack of coins can be heard. This always made me eager to check my new balance. 

For me, the game truly shines when you hit the sweet free spins bonus. I was truly shocked at how frequently the bonus was triggered, especially since it is supposed to lean towards classic slots. I liked the quirky way the bonus was introduced. A bunch of coins lands on the screen, and you have to flip them to reveal the number of free spins and the size of the multiplier. A maximum of 50 spins and an 8X multiplier are up for grabs. Impressive, right?  

Keep in mind that there is still a reward for landing the bonus symbols (up to 100X for 5 icons). 

As is standard for Synot Games slots, this one has a gamble option. I liked how I was able to bet half of my winnings instead of the entire amount. 

Overall, the free spins left the biggest impression on me. I especially enjoyed the fact that they’re triggered frequently, spicing up the gameplay. The classic nature of the game is also quite nice.
