Once the slot’s loaded, look at the control panel along the bottom of the screen. You’ll see the current bet size displayed. If you’d like to change it, all you have to do is use the arrow buttons to cycle through the options; there are eleven to choose from, going from 0.20 up to 20.00. • 30 Paylines. The slot uses a grid with four rows and six reels. There are thirty paylines running across it from left to right. For you to win, three to six matching symbols have to be lined up on a payline; these symbols must be on adjacent reels and have to start on the far left reel to count.

• Symbols. There are six regular symbols: a crook and flail, a lotus flower, an ankh, the eye of Horus, a queen and a pharaoh. Both the queen and pharaoh symbols give the same top payouts; land six of a kind on a payline for a win worth 5x your total bet. All regular symbols appear stacked up to four positions high.

• Bonus Symbols. The multicoloured scarab is the slot’s wild symbol. The other bonus symbols are the pyramid and the golden scarab, both of which are linked with special features.

• Golden Scarab Symbol. Whenever the golden scarab symbol lands, it turns into one of the slot’s regular paying symbols. All instances of that symbol, including the newly transformed one, then turn into wilds.

• Free Spins. The pyramid symbol can only appear on reel 1. If a pyramid lands and there’s at least one golden scarab symbol anywhere else on the grid, the free spins round gets triggered. You earn ten free spins and all golden scarab symbols that triggered the feature stay where they are until all free spins have been used up.

• Gamble. Whenever you win during the base game, you’ll have the opportunity to gamble your winnings. If you decide to do this, you’ll be taken to a separate screen where you have to guess the colour (red or black) of the next card.
