Golden Explorer: Spin the Magic Sundial and Chase Up to 10,000x Payouts

Golden Explorer by TaDa Gaming puts you in front of nine carved gemstones sitting in the African wild, with a stone sundial and a mountain watching from the back. Somewhere among those stones sits a 10,000x your bet payout. I went there alone, picked my stones carefully, and this is what I have returned with.
Let me tell you, this isn’t a conventional slot. There are no reels, no rows, and no paylines to follow. Instead, it’s more like a multiplier-based selection game, borrowing its style from table mechanics rather than classic slot design. At the start of every round, you choose one or more gemstones, each linked to its own multiplier range, then wait to see which stones get picked.
All nine gemstones come with four possible outcomes. The lower-tier stones pay between 2x and 8x your bet. While the diamond sits at the top, paying anywhere from 30x to the full 10,000x your bet return. There’s no official volatility listed, but from my session, the game leaned more toward the user-friendly side.
You can back a single gemstone, a few of them, or all nine of them. Every round guarantees that at least one stone will be selected and assigned a random multiplier. If you’ve chosen that stone, you get paid. If not, the round ends right there. For me, 2x returns showed up often enough to slow losses, while mid-range hits came through occasionally to keep things interesting.
The only feature that breaks the routine is Burst. When it triggers, the stone sundial opens and throws out extra gemstones carrying 2x or 3x your bet multipliers. In one round, I watched a 56x return hit get boosted by two separate Burst multipliers, pushing the total return to 123x my bet.
During my playthrough, I rarely picked more than two gemstones at once, accepting narrower coverage in exchange for better control over losses. Across my session, my average wins stayed in the 4x to 6x my wage range, occasionally going over 20x my bet return.
Golden Explorer is a good option for those who have absolute control over their bankroll and patience. For those who crave new features and the thrill of playing a bonus round, this one is surely not for them. In short, Golden Explorer can be rewarding but not exciting.
- Payout potential up to 10,000x
- High base game payouts
- Random multipliers
- Highly volatile
- No bonus game

Golden Explorer offers a decent experience with its solid RTP and random multipliers. I managed to land a 45x win during a bonus round, but overall ended slightly down by about $30. It feels balanced, though not very rewarding long term

the game looks nice with the safari theme but gameplay is just average. i had a small win around 60x, but then a long dry run. rtp feels fair but nothing special, good for casual spins not big expectations
