TaDa Gaming’s Potion Wizard slot game takes us to the crypt of an old Wizard. Inside there are up to 25x multipliers, a bonus game that can be triggered randomly, and the possibility to win up to 50x multipliers during the bonus. Ready to conjure magical potions? Here’s a quick look at what you can expect inside. 

The main game is set in a compact 3x3 grid with five paylines shared among them and a medium-high volatility setting. This is a fairly standard setup which got me some predictable returns between 0.60x to 2x returns on my bet every three to five spins on average. Wild symbols also appeared frequently and with some high-paying symbols, it was easy to land up to 5x wins every now and then. 

That said, the game was by no means profitable. Most of my payouts remained below the 1x mark which slowly began draining my bankroll. I would have really liked the multipliers to be active with wilds or something similar as you need to fill up all the reels with matching symbols to activate a random multiplier. 

The bonus game was also a bit disappointing to me as it is not triggered by landing scatters like in other similar titles. Getting the round to activate was super hard and the free spins I was awarded also felt a little too basic. The sticky symbols didn’t help me much either and I only made a minor 18.50x returns on my bet. 

In my view, the Potion Wizard slot by TaDa Gaming started strong, but the lack of features and low profitability left me less excited about it. You can try it out for free in the demo above, but I’d recommend avoiding real money play for this one.
