Elven and Dwarf Wheel by Triple Cherry sets the stage in a magical world where elven grace meets dwarf toughness. Visually, it's fantasy 101, filled with arrows and hammers that signify the two characters we have here and a neat balance of glowing blue and green tones. Here’s a closer look at its gameplay loop and why I wasn’t super impressed by it.

The slot runs on a 5x3 layout with 10 paylines and medium volatility, offering a decent 97.53% RTP and a max win of 2,500x your bet. The base game is pretty straightforward. Wins land from left to right across the reels, and symbol pays range from just 0.2x up to 18x stake for most icons. Wilds can take things up a notch, though, offering up to 30x payouts if you land five of them.

I managed four once, and that alone gave me a nice 10.80x boost. These moments are rare, though. For the most part, you’re looking at wins every 2 to 4 spins, with small 0.4x to 2.5x returns. I found this average to be a bit too low for a game that looks and plays like a beginner-friendly slot title.

What sets Elven and Dwarf Wheel apart is the bonus feature. Landing three BONUS symbols anywhere on the grid launches the Wheel of Fortune bonus game. No free spins here, just a clean spin of the wheel that decides your fate. There are two types of wheel segments, Prize Multipliers and Power Ups. The multipliers are applied to your base bet, while the Power Ups are where things get spicy.

Each Power Up multiplies all the prize segments on the wheel by 5. You can land up to two of them. So if you hit the first Power Up, the prizes go 5x. Land the second one, and everything jumps to 25x. In one of my sessions, I hit a 10x segment after landing a single Power Up, which turned a basic 10x win into a solid 50x payout.

That being said, there’s no traditional free spins bonus, which feels like a missed opportunity. The game is clearly built around the Wheel mechanic, but once you’ve spun it a few times, the novelty starts to wear off.

If you’re into clean, classic gameplay with a high-risk, high-reward bonus element, Elven and Dwarf Wheel might be worth a few spins. Just don’t expect constant features or fireworks outside of that wheel. The bonus round is the highlight, and if you're lucky with those Power Ups, it can deliver some solid wins.
