WGS went the “cops and robbers” route with its Beat the Bank online slot. I wish I could tell you that they did an awesome job, but alas, I can't. The slot is mediocre at best in my opinion.The theme, as we can deduce from the title, is that of a bank heist, one in which you must Beat the Bank, and get rich in the process. Well, things don’t really go as planned, and you might end up getting busted more times than you will actually “beat the bank”.

The slot prides itself on being a high RTP slot, but in reality, the winning can be on the low side of things. We can also spot some features that are there to help you get that seif combination right, in the form of Free Spins, and a Bonus Round. Speaking of the Bonus Round, I must admit it’s a new approach, but the result is not what you would expect. You’ll get the feeling that something is missing. As for the gameplay and graphics, well, they are pretty basic too. You’ll  get the old school slot vibe, but again, something is missing.

Bottom line, Beat the Bank is a decent online slot that could pay up big, but, more often than not, it doesn’t. The game stats look good on paper, but they don’t really translate well into real life. But if you look for a classic vibe, and a different Bonus Round approach, you should try and Beat the Bank. Who knows, you might get lucky and walk away with some nice prizes.
