Before we venture deeper into the woods in search of the elusive rhinos, let me give you a quick rundown of these lands. While I was able to land quick wins every 2 to 4 bets during my playthrough, the returns were mostly between 0.50x to 1x, which was a bit disheartening. 

The biggest win I landed throughout my playthrough of the base game was only a small 5x my bet. Wilds were also super scarce which didn’t really help the matter in any way. After a string of losses, I was eagerly waiting for the free spins bonus game to see if the wins made during the round would redeem the game in my eyes. 

To trigger the free spins, I needed 3 or more scatter symbols to land, which was easier said than done. While I frequently saw 1 or 2 scatters drop, getting the required 3 proved to be a challenge. After over 30 minutes of spinning, I finally triggered the feature with 3 scatters, earning 8 free spins.

During the free spins, I only managed a modest 3.25x win, but the bonus guaranteed feature kicked in, bumping my total up to 11x my bet. While this was a nice addition to the bonus game, it still wasn’t enough to recover my losses, leaving my playthrough of Raging Rhino in the red.

All things considered, I feel like the Raging Rhino slot game by WMS falls short in delivering the heavy-hitting bonuses that a slot like this needs to stay exciting. The base game could have used a couple of extra features to keep things varied, and the free spins would have been more rewarding with better multipliers. As it stands, I don’t see much of a reason for players to give this game a try.
