Fish and Deeps: Take Down Giant Sharks and Clams to Claim up to 1,000x Prizes

World Match’s Fish and Deeps is more of an arcade shooter than a traditional slot, putting you in charge of taking down fish for hidden prizes. You start by selecting one of three difficulty rooms, Newbie, Expert, or Royal, each with different ammo prices and bet levels. Once inside, you make a one-time bet that gives you a set number of bullets to spray across the stage.
The game runs in two-and-a-half-minute stages, where schools of fish swim across the screen with hidden health values. Each one needs a different number of shots to be destroyed, and if they swim out of frame before you finish them off, the ammo is wasted. Common fish deliver smaller, fixed payouts, but the real challenge is hunting down bosses, which only appear once you’ve eliminated every species on the side play table.
Bosses stretch the timer by 30 seconds and can bring rewards up to 500x your stake. They also incentivise trying to clear the board and shoot all types of fish you see, which can be pretty fun if you enjoy time-based challenges.
Weapons play a big part in how you handle each stage. The standard gun lets you hold and fire in rapid bursts, costing 5 ammo per shot. The second option is a powerful beam that targets one fish directly, cutting through others, but at a cost of 10 ammo per hit. The final weapon launches an explosive blast that damages up to six fish at once, costing 30 ammo and requiring at least one target in the blast zone.
Special features give the chaos more depth. A Freeze can lock every fish on-screen for 15 seconds, pausing the stage timer and letting you unload without losing track. Pearls offer larger rewards ranging from 100x to 1,000x, though they’re much harder to hit than the regular schools. In my playthrough, most destroyed fish brought steady 2x to 10x payouts, but it took patience and a lot of ammo to trigger anything higher.
Fish and Deeps is visually colorful with fast-paced gameplay, but it comes with heavy ammo costs and a lower RTP of 94.8%. It feels more like a skill-based shooting gallery than a casino slot, which may appeal to players who enjoy timing and precision. While the bosses and pearl prizes can deliver exciting wins, the grind to reach them can be expensive if you’re not careful.
- Arcade-style shooting with three weapon types
- Boss fights with 500x rewards
- Pearl prizes up to 1,000x
- Freeze feature for bigger wins
- Expensive ammo can drain your balance fast
- Lower RTP than most slots
