Triumph: Throw the Chicken Gladiator Into the Fighting Pit for Up to 5,000x Rewards

Triumph by 7Rings Gaming has put the poor chicken in the Colosseum for another epic battle. With multipliers in the bonus fight and a max win of up to 5,000x, who wouldn't want to witness this fight?

This is a five-reel, three-row slot with two additional rows containing special and bonus symbols. There are 20 paylines, where you'll need to land three or more identical symbols on adjacent reels to get a payout.

During my session, I was landing wins every three to four spins, with average returns between 0.80x and 1.30x my bet. The wilds were frequent, and thanks to them, I saw a few good wins worth 5x, 7x, and 8x my bet. One thing I noticed was that I never went more than five spins without a win in the base game.

As for the bonus round, you'll need to land two bonus symbols on the two special rows of the same reel to trigger 12 free spins. Here, you'll see the VS Wild multiplier feature on the reels, where two warriors come with multipliers. One warrior wins, and the multiplier boosts the payout.

It took me nearly 150 spins to land the free spins, where I won 24x my bet without any multipliers whatsoever. I couldn't trigger the feature again, so, for research purposes, I went for the Bonus Buy at 100x my bet.

On my first try, I won just 4.50x my bet, leaving me utterly disappointed. On my second try, I won 95x my bet, with the multipliers reaching up to 10x my win. Even then, neither bonus round recovered the cost of the Bonus Buy. So, I wouldn't recommend wasting your money on it.

You can improve your bonus-triggering odds fivefold with an extra bet of 2.70x your stake if you're desperate to force your way into the feature.

Triumph brings a unique idea to the table by putting a chicken in the fighting pit. However, with such low bonus wins and low base-game returns, I didn't find any compelling reason to witness the battle again. I'd rather leave this one behind and play more rewarding slots from Hacksaw Gaming or Pragmatic Play.
