Miner Flinn: Mine Through Tunnels to Find Golden Nuggets Worth up to 1,000x Your Bet

Flinn the miner and his trusty rat friend are hard at work deep in the mines of the Miner Flinn slot game by Altente. Digging through the tunnel, they are set on unearthing cashouts, golden nuggets with cash prizes, and four different jackpots worth up to 1,000x your bet. I decided to lend them a helping hand, and here’s how it went. 

The main game is made up of a 3x3 grid with no paylines and low-medium volatility. As a Hold and Win style game, the main reels take a backseat to the feature here and there are no symbol combinations to land in this slot. That’s not to say that the base game is entirely devoid of profit as I found rare 1x to 2x wins thanks to the cashout feature. 

During regular spins, a frame can appear on a random symbol space with a spin timer. If you land a gold nugget within the space when the timer ends, you win the cash prize inside the nugget. Although it is a nice addition to keep the base game engaging, I did not see many wins from this feature as mentioned earlier. 

The real MVP of this slot is the bonus game which requires three of any symbols to cover the entire center reel to trigger. Although it wasn’t easy to get to the bonus game, sticky symbols went a long way to help me keep one or sometimes even two symbol spaces in the center reel occupied. The first time I entered the bonus, the background changed completely to a gold cavern. 

Hoping for bigger wins, I started the Hold and Win style bonus game with three free spins. During the round, I landed a few extra symbols before the spin counter ran out which reset the spins back to three. I enjoyed that each spin took me further through the gold tunnel and by the time I emerged, I had collected an impressive 30x win off of just seven spins. 

On average I found wins between 20x to 28x my bet quite easily whenever I triggered the bonus round. Bigger wins typically came from jackpot or mystery symbols, while cash symbols were usually on the lower side. My biggest win from the bonus game was 75x my bet when I landed a mini jackpot along with three minor jackpot symbols. 

The game also has a bonus buy feature, but I found it too expensive since the average wins from the Hold and Win mini-game were much lower than the 50x cost of the bonus buy. Overall, Miner Flinn is a solid slot with a fun, colorful design and potential for wins up to 1,000x your bet. I would recommend giving it a try.
