Amazons Battle Slot Review & Free Play

Amazon's Battle: March Forth With the Amazons for Four Progressive Jackpots

In the dense forest of a secluded island, Amusnet Interactive has set the stage for Amazon's Battle. In this forest of fierce shieldmaidens, I was given the task of watching over four progressive jackpots. With stacked wilds being my only mate, I went on this mission for more than three hours.

Surrounded by Amazon shieldmaiden, there is a five-reel, three-row slot that operates on 30 fixed paylines. I liked the wide betting range that starts from 0.30x your bet and goes up to 90x your bet. Along with regular symbols, Queen Hippolyta, Antiope, and Wonder Woman rule over the grid.

The gameplay was anything but consistent for me. It took 23 spins before I landed my first win, which came in at 9x my bet. After that, I started seeing wins more often, with returns averaging 2x to 4x my bet every 8 to 9 spins. But mind you, I had some painful stretches where I went 20 spins without a single win.

That said, Amazon's Battle had its moments. When the stacked wild horses landed in the right places, I managed to hit 10x, 12x, and even 24x my bet. I felt the bonus round was much more demanding than most.

I needed at least seven Key Scatters on the grid to unlock the free spins, with the feature offering anywhere between 7 and 30 spins. The gamble feature is also available, but guessing a card color to double your winnings didn't give me much reason to stick around.

I landed eight Scatters after more than 200 spins, which gave me 15 free spins. Thankfully, I finished the feature with an 85x return. That's a decent bonus result under normal circumstances, but after waiting that long to trigger it, it didn’t really revive my depleted bankroll.

I never managed to trigger the free spins a second time during my session. I also didn't get lucky with the four progressive jackpots displayed above the reels. So, I wouldn't build my expectations around landing them.

Overall, Amazon's Battle gave me a proper high-risk, high-reward session. If you're comfortable with long dry stretches and want to chase bigger wins, Amazon's Battle has enough bite to keep you invested for longer sessions. Just don't expect the jungle to hand over its rewards easily.
