Arrow’s Edge is known for bringing exceptional graphics to slot games and this time around we have a battle between two elemental wizards in a thick dense forest. Wizards Jackpot brings expanding symbols and a super secret bonus round that brings instant cash prizes. Let’s check it out! 

The regular spins happen in a 5x4 grid with 100 paylines and medium volatility for small but quick wins. In my case, most wins happened every 3 to 6 spins with the payouts being rather small at around 0.25x on the low end to 2.40x on the high end. I would go as far as saying the base game by itself would have been extremely unprofitable if it weren’t for the expanding symbols feature. 

Thankfully, the feature is quite common and requires a wizard symbol to activate it. There are three different wizard wild symbols with the dark wizard expanding vertically and the green one expanding horizontally. The coveted golden wizard can expand to fill up the entire reel and is much rarer than the two. Using this feature, I was able to make between 6.70x to 11x returns on average. 

Coming to the bonus game available in Wizards Jackpot, Bartley’s Collection Bonus is a battle between good and evil wizards and requires a single bonus symbol to trigger. It is relatively easy to start and can even trigger three different progressive jackpots. 

Although it has some impressive payout potential, I was only able to make between 19.50x to 50.50x wins which were impressive but not as impressive as the bonus round would have you believe. 

All in all, I definitely think that Wizards Jackpot by Arrow’s Edge could have leaned harder into the fantasy elements of its theme but as it stands, it is a decent slot title with some exciting moments to explore. I would recommend giving it a try if you enjoy complex themes and environmental storytelling in your games.
