Candy Party: Right Ingredients, Wrong Recipe

Candy Party from Aspect Gaming runs cascading wins on a 5x4 grid with 1024 ways and 94.36% RTP. Each cascade bumps the multiplier from x2 to x3 to x5, and Free Spins pushes that ceiling to x10. Simple concept, but the idea is to never feel uneventful.

As for symbols, cakes and donuts lead the paytable, gummy bears and macarons handle the middle, and candy-coated card royals fill the rest. A sweet gingerbread house Wild appears on the last four reels, and some symbols randomly carry a special marker that transforms them into Wilds if they land in a winning combination.

However, none of that mattered much when I played because cascades simply refused to chain. Base game wins weren’t too generous either, as they hovered between 0.2x and 1.5x my bet, mostly from gummy bears that connected often but paid poorly. The occasional donut line pushed things to 2x, maybe 3x with a follow-up drop. 

Macarons decided to show up for once, and after a three-chain cascade, multiplier climbing to x3, and finally a Wild dropping in at the right moment, the screen read 11x my bet. That was the ceiling, the single best hit of the session,n barely cracking double digits.

There’s another thing with good potential. Three Scatters trigger 12 Free Spins where multipliers start at x2 and climb to x10. I landed two Scatters four separate times. Never three. There's a Buy Feature at 47x your bet if waiting feels pointless, but with not-so-great RTP, I passed.

Overall, Candy Party has the right ingredients but never mixes them properly. Cascading multipliers need chains to shine, and mine died too quickly every time.
