Starting in the base game, I saw 5 reels and 3 rows with 25 paylines and medium volatility. My first few spins gave me small wins between 0.20x to 2x my bet which soon became the average payouts I was getting from wins coming every 2 to 4 spins. With this setup, I experienced marginal losses from time to time which would be supplemented by a few big wins coming in. 

Many of the larger wins occurred after landing clusters of symbols on the first three reels, often enhanced by a few wilds. The most significant combination I achieved brought in a 7.6x win. While this was a nice boost, it wasn't sufficient to counterbalance my losses in the base game. 

After about 20 minutes of inconsistent results in the base game, I was eager to enter the bonus game, hoping for a change of luck with some free spins. Fortunately, I landed 5 golden shark fin scatters, which not only secured a 50x win on their own but also awarded me 20 regular free spins and 5 golden spins. Unfortunately, the free spins round yielded only a modest 3.40x win.

However, I had collected shark symbols worth 14.60x, setting me up for success in the golden spins round. This bonus allowed me to enjoy 6 extra spins beyond the initial 5, significantly boosting my total payout to a remarkable 115.40x my bet.

To be honest, I wasn’t very impressed with the Shark Hunter slot game due to its slow base game where landing symbol combinations can feel impactless. Furthermore, the bonus game has some promise but it also suffers from an overcomplicated theme which doesn’t showcase the importance of the golden spin feature.
