Sphinx Treasure: This Egyptian Slot Has an Interesting Multiplier Feature

I always like coming across a slot that does things differently or has some kind of feature I’ve never seen before. When I started playing Sphinx Treasure, I liked that it had an extra two rows of multipliers up to 50x in value beneath the main 6x3 grid.

The slot used the cascade system, with every cascade awarding me one multiplier, starting with the left one of the top row. The multipliers added together, so the more consecutive wins I got, the bigger the boost from the multiplier was.

This was something I’d never seen before, and it helped me earn a few decent base game payouts of 21x and 11x my bet. The slot had a free spins round that I wanted to play. I decided to buy it for the cost of 75x my bet after going many spins without it triggering.

Naturally, I wanted to make my money back, but I only won around 37x from the free spins round. This was slightly over half of the cost of buying it, which was disappointing. The round triggered on its own towards the end of my playthrough, much to my surprise.

Unfortunately, I only won 12x from it. This was still better than nothing, but it was further proof that it was hard to make back my money from paying 75x for the free spins round. Having said that, I did think the multiplier system was good.

It made the gameplay unpredictable since the values changed with every spin. If you’re after a slot with a unique feature like this, I certainly recommend playing Sphinx Treasure. I’d advise you not to buy free spins unless you’ve won big and have money to spare.
