Cash Strike Power Force 5 Megaways sticks with Blueprint Gaming's familiar cash collect formula but throws megaways, progressive jackpots, and a powered-up bonus feature into the mix. Five expanding reels, flaming cash symbols, and jackpots up for grabs sound promising on paper, so I jumped in to see whether the Power Force mode actually lived up to its name.

The game uses five reels with two to five rows, offering up to 3,125 ways to win. Interestingly, matching symbols don't have to start from the first reel. As long as they land on adjacent reels, they'll still form a winning combination. Even with that generous setup, it often felt like playing an old-school slot.

Switching over to Power Play bumped a few payouts higher, with some wins reaching around 8x my bet, but considering every spin costs five times more, I never felt it justified the extra expense. Cash Prize symbols usually carried values between 1.50x and 5x my bet, but they appeared infrequently, and Collect symbols were even rarer, so they didn't have much impact on my bankroll outside the occasional small collection.

The Cash Strike Bonus triggers by landing three or more Cash Prize or Collect symbols on adjacent reels. During the feature, you start with three respins, collect symbols stick in place, and every new symbol resets the spin counter. Across several bonus rounds, I usually walked away with total returns around the 45x mark.
