Sharkluck Holmes, as you can tell from its name, reimagines the famous detective Sherlock Holmes as a shark of all things. The action takes place underwater, and the shark sleuth himself appears as the wild symbol.

As far as I was concerned, the slot’s visuals, animations, and music were all on point. The theme was unexpected but well presented. The gameplay was enjoyable enough at first. Early on, the free spins round triggered with the Expanding Wild modifier active.

Simply enough, whenever a wild landed, it expanded to fill its reel. Despite this, I only ended up winning 9x. The base game payouts were very frequent, but never above 4x. My biggest win came from the second free spins trigger.

This time, the other two modifiers were active: Win Multiplier, which gave every win a multiplier of 2x to 5x, and Contagious Wild, which caused wilds to duplicate themselves onto random positions.

Thanks to both of these, I ended the round with a huge payout of 160x my bet, which I was extremely pleased with. The multipliers were a massive help in getting this huge win, as were the many extra wilds.

I ended my gaming session with a huge profit of nearly 100x, mostly thanks to the second free spins trigger. If it hadn’t been for this, I wouldn’t have been as impressed with the slot and would have rated it lower.
