Secret of Earth: Excavate Prehistoric Secrets for Up to 2,000x Rewards

The search for dinosaur fossils and other ancient secrets continues in BP Games' latest creation, Secret of Earth. Armed with chisels and brushes, I joined the paleontologists to uncover whatever was hiding beneath the surface. Somewhere among those buried relics sat a 2,000x max win, for me to spend more than 200 spins digging through the dirt.

This classic-themed video slot uses a 3x3 grid, where three matching symbols anywhere on the reels create a payout. Since there are no traditional paylines to worry about, I initially thought this excavation would be a fairly smooth one. Unfortunately, that assumption of mine didn't survive very long.

During my archaeological adventure, I was landing wins every 4 to 5 spins, with average returns ranging between 2x and 2.80x my bet. I believe the large variety of symbols on the grid contributed to the inconsistent payouts, making it difficult to land high wins.

The highest reward I managed to uncover was an 8x win, and even that took nearly 40 spins to appear. Since there is no bonus round, all of the game's win potential is concentrated in the base game. Sadly, that potential never revealed itself during my session.

Apart from its prehistoric theme, Secret of Earth had very little that would tempt me to continue exploring with real money. I don’t see myself coming back to this excavation site. However, there are some good alternatives below if you are looking for more frequent base-game wins with higher bonus rewards.
