CT Interactive has done it again! Burning Flower brings back the same fruits, berries, and classic 7s you’ve seen across dozens of their titles. Sure, some symbols can hit up to 600x your bet, but don’t get your horses high just yet. Let me tell you why it earns its low rating from me. 

The game runs on a 5x3 grid with only five paylines, which is easily one of its biggest drawbacks. To balance this, symbol pays start at 2x and go all the way up to 600x your bet. On paper, it looks like a high-risk, high-reward formula, but during my playtime, it behaved more like a low-to-medium volatility slot.

I landed two 6x wins and one 10x win within my first twenty spins, something I rarely see in these classic-themed slots. But as I kept spinning, a pattern emerged: long stretches of five to seven dead spins followed by one or two decent hits. Wild symbols can help connect wins, but they only land on the middle three reels, which limits their impact.

Any win below 10x triggers the Double Up feature, where you gamble your payout on a face-down card. Picking red or black doubles your win, but a wrong guess wipes it out completely. You can also gamble on the suit, which is a 4x multiplier if you somehow guess right, but then again, it feels like a coin toss with extra steps.

Now, here’s the weirdest part: two scatter symbols with zero bonus features. The banana scatter appears only on reels 1, 3, and 5 and pays 20x, while the star scatter can land anywhere for payouts up to 100x. They pay instantly, but don’t unlock free spins or any kind of feature, which makes them feel oddly hollow.

Overall, Burning Flower feels like a reskinned classic with old-school visuals and old-school gameplay. The only real selling point is its ability to hit those 600x payouts. If you want nostalgia with the chance for chunky wins and don’t mind low-medium volatility, this one might be worth a look. Otherwise, it plays just as dated as it looks.
