Triple 7s: A Classic Slot With Quite Large Payouts

Triple 7s from DragonGaming does a brilliant job of recreating the classic slot experience. It’s designed to look and feel exactly like a physical slot machine that had three reels on a drum. When I loaded the slot, I was impressed by how accurate its design was. 

When it came to playing Triple 7s, I have to be honest and say that I didn’t enjoy it much. With it being based on the earliest slot machines, it had a single payline and no bonus rounds of any kind. The only special feature was a respin one that came into play if two wilds landed on the payline; the reel without a wild would respin until a symbol landed on it, giving me a win.

I never got to see this feature in action because wins were very rare indeed. During my playthrough, I only won four times in total. I earned the 21x payout for any three 7 symbols twice, then the 60x (three double 7s) and 80x (three triple 7s) payouts once each. 

While I liked the fact that Triple 7s looked realistic and paid tribute to classic slot machines well, the gameplay wasn’t enough for me. I’d still give it a high rating, though, because it’s designed to a good standard and should appeal to those who enjoy simple slots with stripped-back gameplay.
