Qian Gun Qian Slot Review & Free Play

Qian Gun Qian: Stack Up Lucky Coins for Up to 500x Jackpots

Explore ancient China and look out for lucky coins as you play the Qian Gun Qian slot. There’s a chance to trigger free spins or respins where you can win one of four fixed jackpots.

Qian Gun Qian is equipped with a 5x3 grid, a combination of reels and rows I see in most modern slots. The 50 paylines were more than I usually see. My wins usually came on a single payline, with the low-paying playing cards paying 0.1x to 2.5x the bet and the high-paying scrolls paying 0.4x to 40x.

I had mixed luck in the base game. There were periods of frequent wins, often worth more than my stake, and stretches with no wins or small payouts of 0.1x to 0.8x my bet. My biggest base-game payout was 33x my bet and included a wild symbol with a 2x multiplier.

Early in my session, I landed six coin symbols and activated the respin feature with three initial respins. That’s when things got interesting: every new coin showing a multiplier reset the respin counter.

The round paid 81x my bet, and I finished just one coin short of filling the entire grid. The two other times I triggered respins, the payouts were slightly lower. I also landed both the Silver and Bronze jackpots during respins.

Unfortunately, I never landed the three scatters needed to trigger eight free spins, so I bought the round for 50x my bet. This was a rather memorable experience because I landed two scatters three times and got six extra free spins.

I also triggered the respin feature during the free spins, which contributed more than half to my score. The purchased round paid 53.2x my bet in total, slightly more than I’d paid for it.

Playing Qian Gun Qian was a lot of fun, especially when the respins and free spins were active. They looked great and provided solid payouts. The base game was inconsistent, with irregular wins of mixed value. So, I advise trying this slot and seeing for yourself.
