Wealth of the East by ELA Games is yet another colourful Asian-themed slot, and though I walked in hoping to find something that stands out, my session did not exactly make the case.

The feature list runs deep, with fortune coins, a twenty-sided dice that rolls multipliers up to x16 or instant jackpots, a Hold & Win bonus, and four fixed jackpots topped by a 1,000x Grand. On top of it, the max win reaches 5,000x your bet.

My base game was honestly the only thing worth talking about. The Wild showed up often, and since it unlocks almost everything, coins were cashing out, and dice were rolling every three to five spins. Most returns landed between 1x and 5x my bet, with the occasional Lucky Wild on the centre reel pushing things toward 10x the stake.

And that was it. No jackpot triangles, no Gold Pot face to trigger the Hold & Win, where coins lock across the grid with three respins, and a full board pays the 1,000x Grand. That whole side of the slot stayed behind the temple walls.

Here is how it works in detail, theoretically. The Wild activates every special symbol on screen. Fortune coins carry values from x0.5 to x16 your bet, but without it, they are just decorative. Three dice landing anywhere pay x20 on their own, but when a Wild is present, they reveal multipliers up to x16, a jackpot face, or trigger the Hold & Win. 

Moreover, multiple dice add their multipliers together and apply them to everything, coins included. Inside the bonus, coins lock and reset the counter to three respins, an Imperial Lotus can randomly boost its values, and filling every cell awards the Grand Jackpot I mentioned before.

Overall, although not fresh, everything’s well designed, and there are a lot of options for solid triggers. That, and because the base game held up, I’d give it another shot. But next time, the temple had better let me inside.
