Grizzly Stampede: Outrun the Wild Beasts for Up to 50,000x Rewards

ELK Studios has dragged me into the prehistoric wilderness with Grizzly Stampede, where a herd of unfriendly-looking beasts is apparently guarding a 50,000x max win. With expanding reels, stampede symbols, wild multipliers up to 5x, and a bonus round capable of stretching the grid to 7,776 ways, I spent nearly three hours trying not to get financially trampled.

The game starts on a five-reel, four-row grid with 1,024 ways to win. During the bonus round, however, the reels can expand by up to three extra rows, increasing the number of ways considerably. Bets range from €0.20 to €100, so there is enough room to scale things up if your bankroll is good.

Before I got anywhere near the bonus, though, the base game was a fairly slow affair. I was landing a win roughly every six to seven spins, with most returns sitting between 1x and 2x my bet. The 5x Wild multipliers had an irritating habit of landing in the most useless positions.

The Stampede symbols can transform positions into high-paying grizzly symbols. They gave me wins of 10x, 12x, and eventually 30x my bet. Although they were very rare.

The bonus round took almost 200 spins to arrive, which was a bit of a slog. I started with nine Free Spins, while the respin mechanic continued extending both the feature and the reels. I had played 22 spins and walked away with 203x my bet. It was well worth the wait.

This game also has the X-iter menu. You can pay 3x or 10x your bet to improve the chances of triggering the bonus, or spend 25x for a guaranteed Totem activation. It will cost you 100x your bet for the Regular Bonus and 250x for the Super Bonus options. 

Grizzly Stampede has plenty of potential, but it comes with some brutal dry spells and a bonus that takes its sweet time to show up. It is definitely one for players like us who are comfortable with high-risk gameplay. But for newcomers, I would suggest trying the demo version before involving their real money.
