I gave ELK Studios' Poltava a spin, and let me tell you, it's more than just a slot game—it's like stepping into a historical epic. The battlefield scenes are dramatic, and the whole army theme sets the tone. Right from the start, I was hooked.

The visuals are downright stunning. I felt like I was in the middle of this intense historical clash. The music, oh boy, it's so tense and dramatic, making every spin feel like a crucial moment in the battle. And get this - the game kicks off with this cool introductory movie, narrating the clash between Peter the Great of Russia and the Swedish royal forces. It's like being in a movie but with the thrill of a slot game.

The reels are see-through, giving me a clear view of the battlefield. You've got soldiers, horses, a lion head (bonus lion), and a cannon spinning around. It's like a visual feast. In my gameplay, I scored a decent 14.25 euros in the base game.

Really love the history theme

Poltava has an interesting historical theme and some solid features, but I wouldn’t say it’s the most exciting slot out there. The free spins and wilds can be fun, but it’s hard to hit those big payouts. The graphics and music are nice, but overall, it feels a bit too slow for me.

wished for a faster gameplay however it's a solid choice

so the theme of this one is nice, but man, the game can feel slow at times. i got a few decent wins but nothing crazy. the marching reels are fun, but honestly didn’t make a huge impact. it’s okay for a casual game, but not the best if you're looking for big payouts.
