Skibblings: Fight Through the Goblin Village to Get up to 10,000x Payouts

ELK Studios is known for experimenting with new ideas, and Skibblings is another example of that mindset. Set inside a goblin village, this slot caught my attention mainly because of its massive 10,000x max win. So before you load it up to fight against the skibbling king, here’s what my session looked like.

The game uses a five-reel, four-row layout with 178 fixed paylines and a cascading mechanic. This grid is filled with fantasy-style enemies like skeleton mages, lizard kings, and devilish characters. To counter them, you’ll have gear symbols such as magical knives, backpacks, spellbooks, and potions filling up the reels.

For this game, RTP is set at 94%, while volatility isn’t officially disclosed. Based on my playtime, it leaned more toward the medium-low to low side. Wins came fairly often, landing every four to five spins on average. Most payouts stayed between 1x and 2x my bet, with the occasional 6x hit.

In the base game, my highest win was 22x my bet. To trigger the bonus round, you’ll need three or more scatter symbols, unlocking up to 15 free spins. During the bonus, every scatter that lands adds one respin to the round. I triggered the bonus after roughly 60 spins, but the return was disappointing, paying only 39x my bet.

One thing that stands out about this ELK release is how feature-heavy it is. The bonus buy menu alone has five different options, with prices going all the way up to 250x your bet. I generally don’t recommend bonus buys, but if your bankroll allows it and you’re willing to take the risk, it’s an option. Just don’t rush into it without thinking it through.

At first glance, Skibblings looks impressive and packed with mechanics, but the base game didn’t fully click for me. Long dry spells are common, and the sheer number of features can feel overwhelming, especially if you’re newer to slots. If you’re looking for something simpler and more relaxed to play, something like Sweet Bonanza series might be a better starting point.
