Before we get to have a go at the bank vault, a giant 6x4 grid with 4,096 paylines and a medium volatility setting needs to be cracked. In my session, I struggled to land winning symbol combinations from the start despite the high number of winning lines. On average, I was landing wins between 0.40x to 2x my bet with a few higher paying symbols coming along rarely to get me up to 3x wins. 

My playthrough wasn’t unprofitable since cash and collect symbols appeared frequently in the base game. These symbols showed up quite often and assisted regular combos, which sometimes took up to 10 spins to land and gave me average returns of 3.60x to 8x. With these features in play, the heist was still on and my bankroll was relatively intact.  

An early setback that could have messed up the plan was that I forgot the dynamite at home, but the game supplies plenty, and landing 3 dynamite scatters activates the heist mini-game. During the heist, a new set of reels is used and only coin symbols and collect symbols can land alongside symbol upgrades. I managed to get a robust 38.80x win from this round in total. 

The free spins feature requires four different scatters to trigger, but landing these bonus symbols wasn’t difficult, as they frequently appeared on the reels. In the base game, each uncollected coin fills up a multiplier meter for the free spins round. The mini-game is similar to a Hold and Win feature, and I scored an impressive 42.30x win, helped by a 1.5x multiplier added afterward.

With strong payouts and a progression meter that can significantly increase profitability, Fortune Llama Hyper Heist easily won me over. It’s one of those games you can enjoy for a while, and I’ll definitely be returning to give it another go.
