Tomb Raider: An Action-Packed Gold Hunt

Tomb Raider by Games Global is a video slot based on the popular movie franchise with the very same title. This game is a part of the collection that bears the same name.

The main themes are adventure and mystery. Moreover, the symbols that fill the reels are descriptive and in tune with the narrative of the game. From the first spin, the background, coupled with the symbols, made me feel like I was in a cave, following clues that would help me find the forgotten treasure.

The game has several special features such as Free Spins and, my favorite, the Tomb bonus. It was really easy to trigger the Free Spins, as all I had to do was wait for the Scatter symbols to land on the right reel. It’s worth noting that I got 10 spins, and the wins from the bonus round were tripled by the 3x multiplier.

What I liked the most about this game is the Tomb bonus, as it’s really unpredictable. It gets triggered whenever 3 or more bonus symbols align on an active payline. Moreover, it gave me the opportunity to increase my earnings by selecting three different idols. What's noteworthy is that this bonus can also be activated during the free spins round.

On the downside, there is no “Autoplay” mode available. However, all things considered, I have to say that Tomb Raider is a slot that truly delivers an engaging experience due to its main features and graphics.

A decent experience

The game is decent overall. The 22,500x max win potential is great, but the outdated graphics really take away from the experience, especially on mobile. The 3x multiplier during free spins is the highlight, but I found the base game bonus feature to be a bit underwhelming.

Wishful thinking

I enjoy the low-to-medium volatility and the balance between base game and bonus features. The pick-and-click bonus is okay, but it doesn’t feel very exciting. The max win potential is impressive, but getting close to that feels more like a long shot than something realistic.
