Book of Madness Flaming Link: This Asylum Holds a 12,176x Max Win, but Discharged Me Early

As expected, Gamomat didn't disappoint with the design. Book of Madness Flaming Link is a horror-themed slot that drops you into an asylum where nothing is clean, and nothing is friendly. Blood-stained hospital beds, green syringes, biohazard blood bags, a werewolf, and a zombie nurse share the grid with slime-covered royals.

There are five reels, 10 adjustable paylines, and a 12,176x max win that the session never even whispered about.

The slot borrows its name from two places. The Book of Madness is both Wild and Scatter, substituting everything and triggering Free Games when three or more land, where every Wild stays sticky, while the Mystery Retrigger can launch a second round. The Flaming Link half works differently.

Five or more suns activate 3 respins that reset with each new sun, the grid splits into four multiplier zones, and filling one applies it to every sun inside. All 15 positions filled means a ULTRA bonus on top, with jackpot suns reaching from Mini to Major, standard.

Funny enough, I can't describe a base game range, because my hits were exclusively 0.25x my bet, and almost exclusively from royal connections. K after K after K, same amount every time, like the asylum had one prescription and kept writing it on repeat.

The only win that managed to escape that loop came when three hospital beds lined up on reels 1 through 3 with a Book of Madness Wild on reel 4, and that paid 5.25x the bet. One moment where it felt like the session had somewhere to go.

But It didn't. Free Games never triggered, Flaming Link never activated, and 96.12% RTP at high volatility bled my balance on copy-paste dips.

Overall, the asylum looked promising, but it sent me home early with nothing to show for it.

Feature came through at the right time

After a slow start, the bonus finally hit with 7 fire orbs and paid close to 200. It’s not a huge win, but it showed the game can deliver. The mechanics made more sense once I actually saw them in action.

Great visuals, poor session results

The design and theme are strong, but my experience was disappointing. I never triggered Free Games or Flaming Link, and base hits were repetitive and very low. For a high volatility slot, it gave no real upside in my session.
