Nitro Wilds Slot Review & Free Play

Nitro Wilds: Expanding Multiplier Wilds Can Help You Win up to 20,000x!

Visit Sunset Drive in the future within the neon-soaked streets of the Nitro Wilds slot. Cool and retro, it’s a well-designed game where the wild comes with a multiplier and can expand upwards to help you win. There’s also free spins where wilds are sticky and cover the whole reel.

Nitro Wilds is played on a 5x4 grid with just 16 paylines active. I say ‘just’ because with a grid that size, there’s room for a lot more paylines, so 16 is quite a low number. As a result of this, regular payouts weren’t that common and were mostly smaller than my bet.

I liked the expanding wild, which appeared every so often in the base game. Whenever it landed, it came with a random multiplier value and expanded upwards if doing so created a winning combination.

As I mentioned, I didn’t do so well with regular payouts in the base game, though I did earn a few special payouts thanks to the wild. My biggest wins with the wild were 20x, 8x, and 5x. Despite these, I still ended my playthrough with a large loss.

The free spins round didn’t help much. I got to play it twice and was hoping I’d win big since every wild that appears stays where it is for the whole round. My two payouts were just 12x and 6x, which I wasn’t too pleased with!

Based on my experience, I’d still suggest playing Nitro Wilds. Even though I lost money on it, I still liked its theming, design, and expanding multiplier wild. Just bear in mind that it’s easy to lose money in the base game, and that free spins may not be rewarding.
