Here’s how my session panned out across two hours. 

The setup uses five reels with between three and four rows, creating 576 ways to win. Regular symbol payouts are fairly modest, ranging from around 0.20x to 2.50x my bet, so the base game relies heavily on Wilds to make wins feel worthwhile. During my session, returns usually landed between 0.60x and 3.10x and showed up every 3 to 4 spins. It was steady enough to keep the balance moving, though rarely in a dramatic way.

The more interesting mechanic revolves around the Cash and Collect symbols. Gold bison collector symbols can appear on reels 1 and 5, while coin symbols carrying values from 0.2x all the way up to 250x can land on reels 2, 3, and 4. The lower values between 0.50x and 3.50x appeared regularly for me, often stacking two or three high. When a collector finally arrived, those collected values produced returns between 5x and 15x my bet.

Free Spins require 3 Scatter symbols and award 8 spins. The catch is that Scatters only appear on reels 2, 3, and 4, making them noticeably harder to land than usual. I didn't even see a single Scatter during my first ten minutes of spinning. Landing additional 3 Scatter symbols during the bonus awards another 8 Free Spins. Jackpot symbols can also appear during the feature. 

The highlight for me wasn't the jackpots but the Stampede feature. This can trigger randomly in both the base game and Free Spins, forcing coin symbols and at least one Bison Collector onto the reels. Stampedes showed up surprisingly often during my bonus round and helped carry the session. I never came close to landing a jackpot, but the extra coins got my total to a respectable 43.30x win.

Overall, Starlight Jackpots Bison Rush feels like a collector slot disguised as a traditional ways-to-win game. The regular symbols do enough to keep spins alive, but the real objective is getting coin values and collectors together. The jackpots never showed themselves during my session, yet the Stampede mechanic kept things entertaining enough that I didn't mind missing out.
