Secrets of the Forest by High 5 Games is a 5-reel slot that has magical and eerie vibes. Although at first glance, everything is shiny and glamorous, while playing I've also experienced a doom and gloom feeling.

As it's hinted by its title, the game is based on fairytale and nature themes. Moreover, I liked how the graphics are both aesthetically pleasing and unsettling.

In regards to features, I have to say that this game is very predictable. During gameplay, I came across Wilds, Scatters, Cascading Reels, and my personal favorite, the Free Spins round. It's worth noting that from the beginning, I set the game on autoplay and that it took me a while to trigger the bonus. However, I was able to get 9 Free Spins, and for some of those, I even got to see how the cascading reels feature works. Moreover, this combination brought me a series of significant wins.

In terms of profitability, Secrets of the Forest landed a top spot on my list as I got a win on each spin. Although the amounts were not that big, at the end of the session, I realized that I had won a considerable amount.

All things considered, I would categorize Secrets of the Forest as a fantasy game that has its very own bubbly personality. Furthermore, its graphics, coupled with its rewarding nature, made me a fan, and I will most likely play it again.

I give this game 2.5 stars out of 5, nothing special but not a bad game

The game has a nice design, and the Tumbling Reels feature makes it interesting, but the payouts are underwhelming. Free spins are hard to trigger, and even when you do, they don’t always pay much. RTP is on the lower side, so don’t expect consistent wins. Decent, but there are better options.

rtp sucks and only got some small wins

man, the rtp on this one kinda sucks. 94.9% ain't the worst but def not great either. played for like an hour, won some small hits, but nothing crazy. free spins took forever to hit and only gave back like 10x my bet. fun theme tho, just wish the payouts were better.
