Cash Eruption The Western slot by IGT takes us to the barren lands of outlaws and bank robbers. Shoot your way through expanding wild outlaws and scattered money bags for a Hold and Win bonus game to cash out up to 1,000x jackpots.

Played on a 5x3 grid with 20 paylines, the game features base game winning combinations, helped by the expanding wild cowboy. Money bag scatters contribute to the three different lockboxes located on top of the grid, with different bonus game modifiers.

You can get multipliers from 2x to 5x your bet for the coin symbols, collector coins, and double reels during the Hold and Win bonus game. I had a pretty good run during the base game, not going to lie. It provided me with wins above 1x most of the time, with the help of the expanding wilds. I managed to cash out wins starting from 3x up to 17.75x my bet.

Even if I could trigger the combined modifier version of the bonus game, I managed to only get separate ones, but honestly, it was fine. The first time, I activated the multiplier feature, which granted me increased values of the coins from 2x to 5x my bet. I got a 27x win out of it.

The second time, I triggered the double reels feature, which basically doubled the grid. The payout was 21x my bet. Truth be told, I was glad with the outcome.

Even though I did not get any of the jackpots during the bonus round, my balance stayed above the neutral line. The base game provided high wins quite often with the help of the expanding wilds, and the bonus game was quite enjoyable, in my humble opinion.

Standard payout mechanics

Hit lines 3, 15, and 19 for a small payout. The cowgirl fills the reel, but the return is low without those top box features active. Decent mechanics, just needs bigger multipliers.
