Hero Eagle Gold 500 Slot Review & Free Play

Hero Eagle Gold 500: Spread Your Wings for Up to 25,000x Rewards

JILI.US has brought forth the free spirit of the United States and created Hero Eagle Gold 500. This eagle, dressed in red, white, and blue, Captain America-style, brings multipliers of up to 500x on its wings while carrying the sword of justice. It has a win limit of 25,000x my bet, so I put on my parachute for a little test flight.

This is a three-reel, three-row slot with an additional multiplier reel. It operates on only five paylines with considerably low symbol payouts. That was a bit of a let-down, as there are eight symbols in total with a high volatility rate, which isn’t the perfect condition for a smooth flight.

During my playthrough, I was landing wins every eight to nine spins, with an average return between 0.60x and 2x my bet. The returns were so low that, without the multipliers, my bankroll was devastated. Even with them, my average returns only reached around 1.20x to 4x my bet.

In the normal mode, the multipliers only go as high as 20x my bet. But as soon as you are willing to pay an extra 1.5x your bet, the multipliers can go as high as 500x your bet. Just so we are clear, it doesn’t affect the hit rate at all, so you are still looking at roughly one win every eight to nine spins.

However, since the multipliers are now much higher, I managed to pick up wins like 10x, 17x, and 21x my bet. The highest I got was a 15x multiplier paired with a 2x win, giving me a total return of 30x my bet.

I saw the 500x multiplier multiple times, but throughout my 300+ spins, it never landed on a winning hand. The Eagle Guardia did come to help whenever my dry stretches went over 15 spins or so. They call it the Gift of Eagle, and it produced random wins of 5x, 6x, and a highest of 8x my bet.

The multipliers and frequent wilds were surely charming, but I would have loved to see them inside a bonus with more effectiveness. Hero Eagle Gold 500 has the high-risk, high-reward gameplay that I quite enjoy. Even so, such low symbol payouts with only five paylines should probably not be the first pick for newcomers.
