Super Ascent Charge Bison Slot Review & Free Play

Super Ascent Charge Bison: Stampede the Grid for a 20,000x Payout

In Super Ascent Charge Bison, JILI.US turns a herd loose on a canyon floor and lets the reels grow while they run. You open with a five-by-four grid with 1,024 ways that becomes 5,488 when reels expand. Waiting behind them are charges that turn whole reels into bison, up to 20 free games, and a 20,000x ceiling.

In the base game, wins arrived every three to six spins and paid between 0.4x and 2x my bet. The bison tops the paytable at 7.5x for five and pays from two of a kind, and since the orange, purple, and gold ones all count toward the same combo, it lands more often than you’d expect. The scatter still beats it at 10x for five.

The Ascent Feature is the reason to watch the middle reels. Red arrows push a reel up one symbol at a time, while the gold arrow turns up once per round, lifts a reel straight to seven, and leaves a reward above it.

Above reels 2 and 4, that reward is a crate holding a Charge, a Super Charge, or 8 free games with stronger wilds. Above reel 3, it is always the Super Charge, which converts three or more symbols into bison. My best base spin came exactly that way and paid 27x, and the reel dropped back to four the next spin, as it always does.

Three scatters eventually gave me 8 free games, with 15 and 20 waiting behind four and five of them. Wilds only land on the middle three reels, and each one carries a 2x or 3x multiplier, or 3x and 5x if you arrive through the crate. I came in the ordinary way, picked up two more scatters for 5 extra rounds, and finished at only 41x my bet.

Overall, this is a well-built machine that never opened up for me. The growing reels are fun to watch in portrait mode, the charges do real work when they land, and there is a buy option waiting if your patience runs out first. But this slot would need to do much more for me to want to come back to it.
