The Wizard of Oz We're Not in Kansas Anymore: How Far Along the Yellow Brick Road Will You Go?

The Wizard of Oz We’re Not in Kansas Anymore is a fun and entertaining game where you’re playing as Dorothy. In each round, nine blocks of various shapes and sizes fall, determining how far along the Yellow Brick Road Dorothy can walk.

If she walks far enough, she’ll start to earn cash prizes and extra blocks that can make her walk even further and earn bigger rewards. Of course, there will be some turns where she doesn’t earn anything.

When I started playing this game, I was intrigued by how it worked and was looking forward to trying it out. After a few goes, I was really enjoying it. There was tension as blocks landed, and I waited to see how far Dorothy would go.

Sometimes I took advantage of the opportunity to buy extra blocks. There were a few turns where this paid off, and Dorothy made more progress. Likewise, there are some turns where buying another block didn’t help me at all.

The most I won was 5x, and there were several turns where I won 4x. Generally speaking, it wasn’t too hard to win. Even when I bought extra blocks, I still sometimes made a profit. By the end of my playthrough, I had made around 3x my bet, which I was pleased with.

I liked how the Wizard of OZ theme was represented and thought it tied in with the game’s core mechanics and features perfectly. The film’s main characters made appearances, and some of its best-known songs were part of the soundtrack.

All in all, The Wizard of Oz We’re Not in Kansas Anymore was a thoroughly enjoyable game to play. I liked landing random blocks and seeing if Dorothy would make it far enough to earn winnings and unlock more blocks. The game’s theming is on point, and it’s a lot of fun to play.
