Reef Riches: A Colorful Underwater Slot with Some Great Features

Reef Riches immerses you in a bright and lively underwater world where sea creatures have large, anime-style eyes. While the visuals are appealing, the gameplay has a lot of promise thanks to the features, which include cascades, free spins and a bonus game.

When I played the slot, I was intrigued to see that there were up to 46,656 ways to win. The was 6x6 in size and always had six symbols on every reel, but bubbles, which were fairly common, were essentially blanks.

The more bubbles there were, the fewer the number of paylines there were. Still, I managed to get a decent number of ways to win on most spins. I didn’t, however, get any huge payouts in the base game. The most I won was 14x, which was still a decent win, I suppose.

Towards the end of my gaming session, the special features hadn’t triggered so I decided to buy them. The cost was 70x my bet for each of them. The free spins round gave me a return of just 19x, which was less than a third of the round’s cost and was disappointing.

As for the bonus game, I made a profit on this as I won 96x from it. I liked the way it worked. It used a 6x6 grid and was a respin round with multipliers and modifiers appearing. My payout was the number of modifiers multiplied by the combined total of the multipliers.

It was cool to play a respin round that worked differently from most others. I enjoyed playing Reef Riches, though the special features were hard to trigger and buying them ended up costing me a fair bit of money. Even so, I’d still recommend giving the slot a try.
