Ham Busters: Fly a Bombing Mission for 30,000x Rewards

Massive Studios handed me a silver badge, shoved me into the cockpit of a fighter plane, and sent me into the battlefield of Ham Busters. Airstrikes, exploding corn grenades, and multipliers climbing as high as 64x were waiting below, alongside a 30,000x max win if I was lucky enough to survive the mission.

Played on a seven-reel, eight-row hexagonal grid, the slot pays for clusters of five or more matching symbols. The cascading cluster mechanic has always got on my nerves, especially when the symbol payouts lean toward the lower side.

The battlefield wasn't exactly generous, but it wasn't completely dreadful either. Every 4 to 5 spins, I'd usually collect a small payout worth around 0.80x to 1x my bet. My best regular symbol win reached 30x my bet, thanks to five 2x multipliers.

The action revolves around the Ham Buster features. A Radar symbol can trigger one of several airstrikes that remove symbols while placing multipliers worth up to 64x across the grid. Through this mechanic, I landed my highest base game win of 62x my bet, thanks to a couple of 3x multipliers.

Afterward, Porky Paras may parachute onto the grid, blowing up another section before replacing every cascading symbol with the same symbol type. Unfortunately, I never got to see that feature during my session.

As for the bonus, landing 3 or more scatters awards 8 to 20 free games. During the feature, every multiplier remains on the grid and continues stacking throughout the bonus.

Unfortunately, my bonus never really got going. After finally triggering it, I collected just 13.70x my bet. The second time, with only 8 free games, I managed a 20x return, not exactly what I expected after seeing those massive multipliers.

The game has two ante bets and several bonus buy options costing up to 1,000x your bet. Every paid option unlocks the game's double max, increasing the maximum payout from 15,000x to 30,000x. I wouldn't recommend trying them unless your bankroll can comfortably support it.

Overall, Ham Busters has plenty of explosions, cascading clusters, and massive multipliers. I wouldn't mind returning to this warzone for another session, provided the symbol payouts decide to put up a better fight.
