CashoMatic Slot Review & Free Play

CashoMatic: Stack Scattered Gems For Free Spins and up to 50x Multipliers

NetEnt's Cash-O-Matic looks like an old-fashioned cash machine dressed up in gold. But we also get winning symbols that stick around during avalanches and a multiplier ladder with up to 10x boosts. The free spins bonus takes things further with multipliers reaching 50x, although getting through the door proved considerably harder than I expected.

The 5x4 grid offers 1,024 ways to win, with symbols paying between 0.10x and 2x my bet. Winning combinations stay in place while the other symbols disappear and fresh ones drop in, allowing cascades to continue. Most of my wins landed between 0.50x and 2x, but longer chains that climbed the multiplier ladder reached up to 4x. Filling one, two, three, or four rows with winning symbols raises the multiplier through 1x, 2x, 4x, and 10x, respectively.

Free spins are where the multiplier system gets more interesting. You need to collect at least 10 scatter symbols during a single sequence to trigger the feature, with each scatter counting as a free spin. The starting multiplier levels depend on how many scatters you collect, reaching up to 50x with 20 or more. Full rows can also award extra spins, giving winning cascades more room to build.

That 10-scatter requirement was a pain. Scatters often appeared in stacks of three, but I still went through more than 120 spins before finally triggering my first bonus. The wait paid off reasonably well, though, with the free spins delivering a 38x payout.

Cash-O-Matic has a clever core mechanic that makes each cascade feel connected to the next, and the multiplier ladder gives you a reason to chase full rows rather than settle for small wins. The dated presentation won't appeal to everyone, and the scatter requirement makes the bonus frustratingly elusive. Still, there's a decent slot underneath that golden exterior if you enjoy building multipliers through repeated cascades.
