Here’s my take on the game and why I would not recommend it. 

The main game is set on a 3x3 grid with just 3 paylines and high volatility, giving it a classic slot feel. To the left of the grid is a bonus reel with instant cash rewards that activate when you land a winning combination on a payline. Most of the combinations I hit brought returns between 1x to 3x, but they took up to 10 spins to land. 

I landed wilds every now and then, but they rarely led to winning combinations, making the base game quite unprofitable. Sure, a few rare big wins up to 10x my bet came through, but by then it was too little, too late to recover the significant chunk of my bankroll I had already lost. 

At this point, my only hope was to land enough scatter symbols to trigger the Lion Bonus game. It takes 20 scatters to activate and plays out as a match-3 mini-game with instant rewards for matching prizes. I was excited going in, but I quickly realized the prizes were relatively low, mostly capping at 25x my bet. The two times I triggered it, I got a small 10x win and a slightly better 20x win.

With small wins in the bonus round and an unprofitable experience in the base game of Gladiator Clash, I have to say I don’t prefer this title. While the game does have potential for bigger wins, they are much harder to access compared to other slots. For that reason, I would recommend exploring other titles.
