Troyan Gems: Simple, Yet Efficient

First things first, it’s clear from the get go that Troyan Gems is a modern slot game, and I could tell that from the way it looks and feels. The visuals are crisp, the symbols are very detailed and the animations are fluid. Troyan Gems kept it simple in terms of features, and that is not necessarily a bad thing for some.

Starting off with the interface, it looks very familiar. I swear I’ve seen this layout somewhere else, but I can’t remember where. Well, the important thing is that it’s intuitive, and the slot itself is easy to understand and play. Now, that’s also because the game lacks any bonus games or special features. The only interesting mechanic is a mini reel located on top of the usual reels, that acts as a multiplier for the winnings triggered.

Unfortunately, spinning the reels and getting winning combinations is the only interaction I had with the game. There are no free spins or any bonus rounds included. For a game that looks this good, it’s unfortunate that it lacks some interesting features. At least it pays decently even in this form, and I even scored some big winnings from time to time.

Despite not having a bad time in terms of winnings, I can’t say the game kept me playing for long. I personally like some special features to be included, because it makes the experience entertaining and potentially more engaging. In conclusion, while Troyan Gems looks great and can prove to be lucrative, the fact is that it becomes repetitive fast and that may be a bad thing for many players.
