Shake and Win: A Tropical Slot Featuring Expanding Wilds

Shake and Win from Platipus Gaming is an attractive slot with a good-looking tropical island setting. Its graphics are bright and full of color, and its soundtrack does a great job of matching the theme.

The gameplay, however, wasn’t the best. First of all, I’ll talk about what I liked. The slot had one special feature and that was the expanding wild. Whenever a wild landed, it would expand to fill the reel, which helped me bring in some decent wins. Thanks to this feature, I earned payouts of 10x and 14x, along with a significant win of 84x, which I was really pleased with.

While I liked the expanding wilds, there wasn’t really much else going on. The slot didn’t have a bonus round of any kind - no pick-me game or free spins round - and there were just five paylines, which I thought was too few. The grid was 5x3, so it could have easily had a greater number of paylines. 

Even though I would have preferred more paylines, I still benefitted from the slot’s one and only special feature. Wilds appeared often enough and sometimes they landed on multiple reels, giving me two or more fully wild reels at a time. Still, if there had been more paylines, I might have won more often and could have landed bigger payouts.

 While I liked the slot and thought it had promise, the gameplay could have been more enjoyable. There was room for improvement, but it was good enough as it was. If you’d like to give it a spin, hopefully the expanding wild will help you bring in some decent wins.
