Red packet symbols can land anywhere on the reels and are collected by the Fortune Tree up top. Once collected, it either goes up to an empty space or a space already occupied by another red packet symbol. If you manage to land 5 of these symbols at one particular space, you get between 2 to 5 free spins which are re-triggerable. 

This setup made it easy to trigger the free spins feature often, as red packets appeared frequently during my gameplay. However, the wins from these free spins were generally under 10x my bet, which made the feature feel less impactful after several activations. 

The second and much more impactful feature is simply dubbed the Bonus Feature and is triggered by landing 3 or more shake symbols. Doing so awards an instant cash prize which in my case was just over 5x my bet and then a bonus picking mini-game where I was able to use my three picks to push my wins up to a total of 31x my bet. 

I was quite surprised by Pg Soft’s Tree Of Fortune slot game.
