Crash Raiders: Guide Your Explorer Past the Traps and Towards 10,000x Max Prize

In Crash Raiders, R Franco invites us to try one of their crash games, where you choose the interactive game mode and guide the explorer across a board of hidden squares, digging up treasure while dodging the traps for a shot at 10,000x your bet.

Each of the four modes plays a little differently, but the goal never changes. Normal lets you set your own balance of traps and treasures and cash out whenever you like. Turbo has you plot a full route of squares and reveal them in one go. The two Mystery versions hide how many traps and treasures are even out there, so you head in blind.

I set off on my quest in the medium difficulty, and most of the time it felt borderline unfair how often my little explorer stumbled onto a trap. All I could do across those runs was enjoy how creative the provider got with the trap variations.

My longest, and ironically only decent, run came in Turbo mode, where that one stretch carried me to around 180x my bet before it ended.

R Franco never struggles to find ways to keep a game immersive, and this time it's an extra life. After a crash, the game offers you the choice to buy your way back in and keep the current run alive. The trick is you only get it once per game, and I burned mine on the run I just mentioned, so choose carefully.

Overall, Crash Raiders is an engaging entry, but my session was disappointing. Still, if you're a fan of slightly complex, well-thought-out entries, I think you'll enjoy this one.
