What happens when you remove everything a slot usually offers and leave only coins and jackpots? Red Rake Gaming answered that question with Get the Coins, a minimalist slot that trades symbols, paylines, and features for raw simplicity.

Nine independent symbol spaces, a 3x3 grid, and one objective. Land coins across all three columns to trigger the mini-game. Max win reaches 823x your bet, though the real selling point is supposed to be pace.

For me, the base game displayed nothing but coins and empty spaces. In theory, if you get at least one coin on each column, the mini-game activates. Three respins await, coins lock where they land, and each new coin resets that counter. It’s similar to the standard Wazdan slot setup.

Prize coins pay between 0.5x and 5x returns, Collector coins sit exclusively on the center reel and absorb values from the sides. Minor, Major, and Grand jackpot coins hide somewhere in there, too. Once respins expire, Collectors cash out their gathered totals.

My reels spun empty for longer than I'd like to admit. Coins were scattered across one or two columns constantly, but that third column stayed stubborn.

One time, when the mini-game finally opened, prize coins showed 0.5x to 1.5x values, and my lone Collector scraped together 4x before the respins died. No jackpots showed their face, and it honestly didn’t feel like they would.
