Thor’s Hammer Time Thunder Zone by Reflex Gaming drops you into a storm-heavy Hold and Win setup where Lightning Prizes, jackpot pots, and a scaling Thunder Multiplier do most of the work. There are no traditional free spins here, just respins, jackpot prize reels, and up to 5,000x wins. On paper, it sounds stacked, but in practice, it’s a bit more uneven.

The game runs on a 6x3 grid with 20 paylines, and the base game is fairly active without being impressive. Wins came in every few spins, mostly between 0.30x to 2x my bet. Stacked wilds helped occasionally, pushing some hits into the 2.20x to 4.50x range, but nothing here really builds momentum. It’s one of those base games that exists just to get you into the features.

Most of the value sits in the Lightning Prize mechanics and the two bonus paths. Cash symbols range from 1x up to 500x, while jackpot pots go from 5x all the way to 5,000x for the Mega. You need 8 or more Lightning Prizes to trigger the Storm Link feature, which plays like a standard respin setup with 3 lives, resetting when new symbols land. 

Filling reels creates Thunder Zones, and only those zones get multiplied at the end, which makes the Thunder Multiplier feel more limited than it should.

The Pot Prize Reels feature showed up more often in my session and honestly did more for my balance. On my first trigger, I landed a mix of small values and a 50x Major jackpot, finishing at 62x total returns. The second run dropped to 23.10x with just a Minor, and the third barely reached 16x. The upside is that these features trigger fairly often, so even smaller hits keep things moving.

Storm Link itself feels a bit hit-or-miss. The multiplier can climb up to 10x, but since it only applies to completed Thunder Zones, you don’t always feel the impact unless the grid lines up exactly right. Even when it did, I didn’t manage to push past the 20x barrier, so it’s not worth holding out for. 

Thor’s Hammer Time Thunder Zone has frequent feature access, but the actual payoff doesn’t always match the buildup. It’s not a bad slot, but it feels like it’s trying to do too many things without committing fully to any of them. It’s also worth noting that this sequel doesn't do anything new visually, which makes it look and feel dated.
