Beauty and the Gorilla King: Will You Make It to the Top of the Skyscraper?

Beauty and the Gorilla King from SimplePlay Gaming is loosely based on the classic movie King Kong, which has been remade and spawned numerous sequels and spin-offs. The idea of this game is that there’s a skyscraper and you have to work your way up to the top by saving beauties. 

I really enjoyed playing Beauty and the Gorilla King and thought it was a well-designed game. It was good how SimplePlay Gaming took the King Kong theme and developed a game of chance around it. What I liked most was the numerous difficulty settings. This added a lot of variation to the gameplay. There were also jackpots I could stand a chance of winning if I increased my bet to 1.5 credits or more. I did this but didn’t win any of these special prizes. 

Having said that, I only tried three of them during my playthrough. I spent most of my time on the easiest setting, where each floor of the skyscraper had five windows: four revealing beauties and one revealing a gunman who would bring the round to an end. On this setting, I managed to make my way to the top floor (the ninth one) multiple times, winning a decent payout in the process.

At first, my approach was to try to reach the top and earn the maximum payout. After doing this a few times, I decided to take less of a risk and began cashing out after saving a few beauties. What was great about Beauty and the Gorilla King was that you could try out whatever strategy you wanted.

Having played Beauty and the Gorilla King, I would definitely recommend it. The game is a lot of fun, it can be rewarding if you’re lucky, and there’s more than enough room for strategies and different levels of risk.
