It’s time to dive deep and see if there are any treasures to be found at the bottom of the sea. The Captain’s Quest from Slot Factory is themed to underwater exploration and has a free spins round with expanding wilds and a feature that can double the current spin’s payout. It’s a well-designed game with a cool theme and some promising features. 

As such, I was looking forward to playing the slot. When playing it, the Squid Game feature triggered a total of six times. Whenever it came into play, I would earn a 1x or 2x multiplier from the squid, which would then be applied to the wins from the current spin. My biggest total payout from the Squid Game was 15.2, which was 7.6x with a multiplier doubling it. The rest of my wins from this feature were a few times my bet or greater.

Apart from the Squid Game, there was a free spins round that had expanding wilds. Of course, I wanted to play this and see what it was like. Unfortunately, luck wasn’t on my side as I didn’t manage to land enough free spins scatters to trigger the feature.

Even so, I had a good time playing The Captain’s Quest and would happily play it again. I liked the slot’s design, the relaxing soundtrack, and the sound effects that fitted in with the underwater exploration theme well. The base game was also enjoyable thanks to the fact that the Squid Game feature came into play quite often.
